After an unplanned and lengthy chat with another traveller we finally hit the road at 7.45am, only 15 minutes later than we would have liked.
We were stopped in Dalarnil for a breathalyser and the young police officer had a chat to us about cruisers.
Next we had to stop at Ban Ban Springs and buy some toothpaste as I had forgotten to grab a new one from home. I have discovered a few things I forgot to grab 🙄
We stopped in Wooroolin for morning tea before finally arriving at our friends at 2.20pm, 10 minutes ahead of schedule.
Carol and I made a beef stew on the camp fire and a damper for dinner.
We have had lots of laughs and plenty of delicious food on our 2 day visit. They even let me be in charge of the fire!
Tomorrow we will move on towards the NSW border.
We travelled 370kms.
