Day 1&2 Bundy 6&7/6/25

This morning we headed off to Childers to watch Seth and Oliver's athletics carnival.

We have set up at the Cane Village caravan park in Bundy for 2 nights. In the afternoon we grabbed some dinner ingredients and headed over to Melissa and Luke's for dinner and sat around the fire 🔥. We travelled 91kms.

7/6/25

This morning we rode our bikes to a few places but only clocked up about 12 kms.

We watched Millie play a game of AFL. Today is Ruby's 2nd birthday so we rode from the footy to the house for a little party.

Ruby is loving sharks at the moment so Melissa made her a 🦈 cake.

Oliver,  Ruby, Bodhi,  Haylee and Lincoln. 

After the party we rode back to the van via Aldi, where I managed to fit quite a lot of food into my bike panniers in preparation for a big cook up on the camp fire at our friends in the next couple of days. 

After a coffee and a rest we headed back to Melissa and Luke's and Lukey cooked potatoes in the fire pit for dinner. Delicious. 

Luke's been sending me photos and videos of all the fires they've been having over the last couple of weeks, teasing me because he knows that I love a good campfire. The above video is his of the fire for our potatoes. 

Tomorrow we move on to Kogan, where I will get to do some campfire cooking with Carol hopefully.
