Day 7. Lightning Ridge. 12.6.25

We have been to Lightning Ridge a couple of times before and pretty much done all the major attractions already. We had an easy morning, catching up on the washing, visiting the art gallery,  coffee in town and grabbing a few groceries. 

You can't take photos in John Murray's gallery but the town is full of his murals. 

In the afternoon we visited the Cactus Gardens 🌵 

We also popped in to the stained glass workshop. Not a lot on display but it was lovely to see. 

There were hundreds of butterflies 🦋 on 1 particular tree.

This morning the temperature dropped to 2.5° around 5.30am and only got up to 15°
